Taking care or your radiator is very important in keeping your vehicle in good running condition. Here are some steps that will help you keep your vehicles cooling system working properly. Check you fluids. You should check your coolant levels to ensure that you have the proper amount of fluid in the radiator. Flush the radiator once every 1 to 2 years regardless of how many miles you have put on your vehicle. Check the radiator hoses and belts. Look for leaks or cracks in the hose and look for cracks in the belt.
Radiator Repair
Regular engine tune-ups, based on your vehicle manufacturer's recommendations, bring power and efficiency back to your car. A regular engine tune-up will lower emissions, improve fuel economy and restore lost power. During tune-ups we visually inspect all of your engine components and replace parts like spark plugs and fuel filters.
Tune UPS
We perform general repairs like replacing hoses, belts, pumps, alternators, and distributors for example. We have the mechanical expertise to perform all kinds of general repairs to both the interiors and exteriors of your car.
General Repairs
An automatic transmission is the most complex and one of the most expensive to repair components of your vehicle. Most of the transmission problems start from overheating while driving under heavy load. At higher temperatures the transmission oxidizes, losing its lubricating qualities and leaving deposits all over inside the transmission. To maintain your transmission regularly check your transmission fluid level and condition. Also check your parking space for leaks and if you see any, get it fixed before lack of oil or fluid causes expensive problems. And lastly, change the transmission fluid as often as it's recommended in your owner's manual.
Transmissions
How often should you change your oil? Every 3000 to 5000 miles?
Ford, Volkswagen, and Toyota recommend oil changes every 10,000 miles.
Oil Changes
You should routinely check your Brake fluid levels. Brakes are the most important part of your vehicle. Here are some warning signs that you need to have your brakes serviced:
• A high pitched squealing sound • Sounds of grinding metal • Pulling to one side
• Vibration and pulsations when braking • Lowered responsiveness and fading • Parking brake sticks
Brakes
Over time, a gas tank may begin to corrode and fail. When this happens, gas may leak from the vehicle, having an effect on fuel economy, and potentially leading to a dangerous fire or explosion. If gasoline is leaking from the gas tank, you should be able to notice the leak underneath the rear of the vehicle accompanied by a noticeable smell. It is important to inspect the kind of fluid leaking to ensure that it is gasoline. Gasoline may also leak from fuel lines. Finding the origin of the leak will help you and the mechanic determine what repairs will need to be made.
Fuel Tank Repairs
Most of us we don't give our air conditioning a second thought as long as it's making cold air. But it's a complex and expensive system that we should think about before it starts blowing hot air. It’s recommended that you have you’re A/C checked every year prior to use. Replacing old refrigerant has another benefit: refrigerant tends to gather moisture and become corrosive. That causes leaks in the system which can be expensive to repair.
